Destiny Driven Inc.- The Montgomery Debate League provides competitive opportunities in Public Speaking and Debate for opportunity youth as well as local middle and high school teams. The nonprofit develops and collaborates with local, state, and national groups to identify youth who have an interest in public speaking, debate, and leadership. Debate empowers young people to communicate effectively, think critically, and resolve conflicts through diplomacy and logical reasoning. Participation in Destiny Driven Inc. includes: debate curriculum, virtual teaching courses, one- on- one training sessions, collaboration with local debate circuits, voter engagement support, community engagement, access to academic liaisons, mentorship, and membership with the National Speech and Debate Association.
