The OYU Fellowship will be a year-long fellowship designed to provide advanced leadership training and skills to diverse young leaders across the United States, who are committed to increasing opportunity and decreasing poverty in America. Fellows further the mission of OYUnited by serving as youth representatives of OYUnited in their communities and national events as participants, presenters or facilitators. The fellowship is also a place to meet young leaders from across the country to network, share ideas, and collaborate on common values of opportunity and responsibility, love and respect, education and employment, and justice and equality for all.
In 2021 there are 8 OYUnited Fellows; We will work collectively to empower and support opportunity youth, young people between the ages of 16-24 who are out of school and/or work, to become civic leaders and changemakers in their communities and beyond.
